CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF KOREAN CULTURAL HERITAGE IN HOUSTON
Over the ten years since our inception, the Korean Festival has become one of the largest free cultural events hosted at discovery green in downtown Houston, drawing tens of thousands of visitors to its cultural presentation and culinary experience.
FOR HOUSTON, BY HOUSTON
The Korean-American Society of Houston (KASH), is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural diversity in Houston, developing the next generation of leaders, and bridging the Korean-American community and the Houston community at-large. The Korean festival is a culmination of such efforts.
The festival is free, open to the public, and organized by volunteers.
10 YEARS OF CELEBRATING KOREAN CULTURE IN HOUSTON
This year, in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Korean festival, KASH is proud to present BAIKAL, an up-and-coming KPop band from Korea, the "Red N' Hot" K-Food Sampling Zone and the "Korean Village" interactive activity area, and food vendors new and returning to share "A Taste of Korea" with the Houston public.

While entry to the Festival and access its performances, interactive activities, and non-food booths are free of charge, patrons use our festival vouchers to purchase food, specialty drinks, and beverages. Each ticket is worth $1 and is only redeemable during the 2018 Korean Festival Houston.
Vouchers may be purchased at the Festival using cash and credit cards. Expected wait time in the lines for those methods of purchase can be greater than 30-45 mins.
Patrons also have the option of purchasing vouchers online and picking up their purchase at will call.
